Legal Scale of Fees in Civil Matters
Without special written agreement our fees are payable according the Rechtsanwaltsverguetungsgesetz (federal law for remuneration of attorneys) which contains a legal scale of fees, which is shown below for civil cases. The law fixes separate fees for
a) advices
b) correspondence with opponent including advice
c) court proceedings
d) appeals
In addition to these amounts the expenses for post and telecom (20 € or exact billing) and VAT (19% if applicable) are payable.
